How we work
A coach, not a tool catalog
Woodworking content online is largely sponsored by tool companies. The answer is always a new machine, and the project somehow requires exactly the one being reviewed.
TalenttForge sells nothing and takes no sponsorships. We work with the tools you own, tell you when something genuinely limits you, and spend most of the time on technique — which is what actually changes your results.

The questions we get most
I only have a garage and four tools.
That's most of our students. The first program is built for exactly that, and you can build good furniture with surprisingly little.
Is woodworking safe to learn remotely?
The technique, yes. But you work unsupervised, so safety is on you: follow your tools' manuals, use guards, and never rush a cut. We'll flag risky habits when we see them in your videos.
Hand tools or machines?
Both. Machines for milling if you have them, hand tools for joinery and fitting. We adapt to whatever is in your shop.
What wood should I buy?
We'll tell you what to look for and roughly what it should cost in your area. We sell nothing and take no commissions from suppliers.
Can I work on my own project?
Yes, and most people do. We'll say honestly if a project is too ambitious for where your skills are, and suggest a stepping stone.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. No contract, no minimum term. Access stays open until the end of the month you already paid for.
